Your english speaking guide will meet you at the hotel at 09:00am for a city tour.

You will start the visit with the impressive botanical garden, proudness of the cariocas. Each of the 141 hectares of the park hosts species of the brazilian and world flora. The imperial palm trees, main attraction of the garden, were seeded under the order of the regent prince Dom Joao VI in 1809. centenary trees, orchids, vtorias regia, bromeliads, flamboyants in an atmosphere filled with tropical scents.

Free time to wander to your own pace between the water pools and to enjoy the freshness and peacefulness of the place.

Then transfer to the Tijuca national park in the centre of Rio. This oasis of vegetation of 3,200 hectares is the biggest urban forest in the world and is he best opportunity to hike both "around" and "in" Rio. You will pass through the "vista chinesa" and the "mesa do Imperador" which are great viewing points of the city.

In the afternoon, climb up the Corcovado (700 m el.) a worldly known symbol of Rio. At the summit take the time to appreciate the unique and wonderful panoramic view of the cidade maravilhosa in front of you.

At 09:00am you will meet your English-speaking guide for a private visit of Rio’s city center, from a colossal avenue framed by imposing glass buildings to quaint, small streets and their little affordable shops. Many styles, one spirit, is the best definition to describe the architectural cocktail of the center, where past and modernism coexist in harmony. Among the possible visits (to be coordinated with the guide depending on opening times, your centers of interest, or eventual manifestations organized that day): Imperial Municipal (replicate of the Opera Garnier in France), foundation Banco do Brasil, casa da França (old custom house), national History museum, largo da Carioca, convento Santo Antônio, metropolitan cathedral, plaza Tiradentes...

In the afternoon, take the cable cart to the summit of the Sugarloaf (el. 400 m.a.s.l.), another Rio´s symbol which marks the entrance of the Bay of Guanabara.

Return to the hotel at 05:00pm.

Transfer to the airport 3 hours prior to departure. Flight from Rio de Janeiro (time and number to be confirmed).

Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel (or to the site depending on the arrival time).

In a private vehicle, you will head to the Brazilian side of the Iguaçu Park and admire a wondeful panoramic view.

The Iguaçu national park, 185,000 acres, was created in 1939 and its ecological reserve was classified as a Natural Heritage site by the UNESCO. You will pass hundreds of small falls before reaching the last one, Floriano Fall. From this one you will have an arresting panoramic view over the "Devil’s Canyon", in front of you.

Return towards Foz de Iguaçu. On the way, you will stop at the bird park (parque das aves), where hundreds of different types of birds from Brazil are sheltered, but also from other tropical countries.

Meet your english speaking guide at 08:45am at the hotel. Transfer to the Argentine side of the park (about 40 minutes). Stop at the symbolic and panoramic triple border point Paraguay - Brazil - Argentina. Visit of the falls from the Argentine side, from where you can get closer to the water, and of the impressive "Devil’s Canyon" below your feet. Then return to your hotel on the Brazilian side in the afternoon.

During the day, you will stop for the Gran Aventura Zodiac (1h30). In a 4WD vehicle, you will enter the silent forest (40 minutes). Shortly after, the trail will become narrower and steeper, and you will continue by foot (10 minutes) at the heart of an opulent vegetation, until you reach the shores of the river. There you will wait for the powerful semi-flexible hull zodiacs (2 x 250 CV) in which you will follow up the river… until finding yourselves right under the fall! (30-minute navigation time).

Back to the hotel at the end of the afternoon.

Private transport to the airport 2 hours prior departure. Domestic flight from Foz do Iguaçu (arrival airport, flight time and number to be confirmed).

Pick up at the airport. Direct transfer to Pantanal. After driving for 100 km on a paved road and crossing Pocone city, the journey goes on to the Transpantaneira for 25 km, where there is the Fazenda Curicaca. On the way, you will be offered many stops to observe and photograph the fauna. The Fazenda because of its location and rich environment make it a destination of choice in Pantanal.

A little bit before dawn, a trip down the river on a small boat will be the best way of observing the fauna. After breakfast, you will be able to do further activities by the river on a motor boat. You will see from far a great number of many different species of water kingfishers, herons, egrets, cormorants, anhingas, great curassows, roseate spoonbills, wood storks and caimans.

Back at around midday for lunch.

During the afternoon (between 02:30pm and 03:00pm), you will leave to go to the Porto Jofre Hotel, at the other side of the Transpantaneira. It is one of the most beautiful infrastructures of Pantanal, offering comfortable accommodations and the best logistic to practice sport fishing.

You will spend the day looking for jaguars, exploring the long and large rives if the Cuiaba River and some of its tributaries further north. Your experienced guide will show you the best sites to increase your chance of actually seeing the animals.

In the morning, once again you will look for jaguars. Back at around midday.

In the afternoon, you will leave to discover the Fazenda Pouso Alegre and its beautiful natural sites. On your way to the main facilities of the Fazenda you will have the chance to observe many migratory birds, marsh deers, capybaras and caimans. After dinner, your guide will be available for a night walk which could lead to some great sightings.

A bit before dawn, you can enjoy a walk around the Fazenda to watch the fauna rise and to contemplate hyacinth macaws flying all around. After breakfast, there will be a fabulous horse ride to discover the great spaces and beautiful landscapes of the farm. Back at around midday.

Lunch at the Fazenda Pouso Alegre followed by some down time.

In the afternoon, your guide will take you to a small river which you'll explore on small boats. Back at sundown. You will be able to observe your surroundings with a long ranch driving lamp all the way down the road back to the main facilities of the farm.

After breakfast, you will leave for the morning on a sighting hike.
